About Dr. Jacqueline Ward

Introducing Dr. Jacqueline Ward, MD, PhD, a distinguished addition to Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati. Board-certified in internal medicine since 1999, Dr. Ward brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. A native of Cincinnati, Dr. Ward pursued her undergraduate studies in Nutrition Science at Purdue University, graduating with highest honors. She then earned both her PhD in Immunology and medical degree through the prestigious Medical Scientist Training Program Fellowship at The Ohio State University, graduating summa cum laude. 

During her training, Dr. Ward garnered numerous honors, including the Medical Scientist Award, the Department of Internal Medicine Outstanding Senior Award and induction into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha society. She completed her internal medicine residency and an NIH-sponsored cancer research fellowship at Ohio State, solidifying her foundation in comprehensive patient care and cutting-edge research. 

In 2002, Dr. Ward joined The Ohio State University faculty as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine before returning to her hometown in 2004 to join Alliance Primary Care, later transitioning to Mercy Health in 2010. Over her 20-year tenure with these organizations, she not only provided outstanding patient care but also assumed various leadership roles, with a primary focus on medical informatics optimization, support, and training. 

As of May 2024, Dr. Ward will be extending her exceptional care to patients aged 18 and older at our new Kenwood location. Her areas of special interest include preventive care, cancer survivorship, and the management of diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension. Committed to staying at the forefront of medical innovation, she will also undertake an advanced credentialing course in menopause management. 

Beyond her dedication to medicine, Dr. Ward enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters and is an avid fitness enthusiast.
