I've seen my fair share of health epidemics, from the flu to heart disease. Still, a new epidemic has been creeping up on us, and it's not a virus or bacteria. It's loneliness. Dr. Vivek Murthy, the United States Surgeon General, has said, "Loneliness is not just a feeling. It is a public health crisis that threatens our physical and emotional well-being."
